Dr. Bijan Sheikhizadeh

Dr. Bijan Sheikhizadeh was born and raised in Olympia, Washington and grew up exploring the forests of the Pacific Northwest. He headed East for college to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Sheikhizadeh graduated from Creighton University with a B.S. in Biology. As a humanitarian, Dr. Sheikizadeh visited New Orleans several times after Hurricane Katrina to help rebuild some of the tragically destroyed homes and architecture to help save the city.

Dr. Sheikhizadeh then attended Podiatry School at Western University of Health Sciences near Los Angeles, California. Dr. Sheikhizadeh was highly motivated, and was able to achieve a 3-year surgical residency at Kingwood Medical Center in Houston, Texas. While in residence, Dr. Shiekhizadeh saw a very large volume of patients on a weekly basis, and was trained in every element of Podiatric Medicine and surgery. This included extensive experience with wound care and limb salvage, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and primary clinical/office-based Podiatric medicine.

Dr. Sheikhizadeh has displayed a tremendous amount of care and compassion for his patients and the clinical and surgical outcomes related to his work. He values practicing ethically and is interested in providing only the highest level of medical care possible to his patients.

Dr. Sheikhizadeh is excited to join Apache Foot & Ankle Specialists as their newest associate. He is excited about relocating to Las Vegas and is looking forward to experiencing all the city has to offer.

In his spare time, Dr. Sheikhizadeh enjoys playing soccer, practicing his guitar, and hiking.
